Doreen! That's a rite smart bunch of readin. My old belly is sore from laughin! It brings to mind some other things too. "Read my lips" for one from a few years ago. I hardly take the time to enjoy the famous or infamous quotes of our fearless leaders. Why bother-they all seem to be idiots. As far as Dan Quayle goes-he would've been a much better choice than georgie bush jr. He had morals but just couldn't spell. I can't spell either so no big deal there. He didn't open his mouth and put hisn' foot in it like georgie bush jr did couple days ago. Who cares how you spell tater or mater, I don't. Wished I'd been the one to invent the internet---! I'll go to my urn believing George, Sr. could have beat Clinton if he had chosen someone other than Danny Boy as his running mate. By his second term people were asking themselves if they really wanted him 'one heartbeat' away from being President.

i liked old Danny Boy and would vote for him in a second. he couldn't spell, so what at least he was moral,honest and never sold us out to the chineese. look at Mr. Gore, how can a person spend the last 8 years surrounded by crooks and not be dirty. he is either real stupid or real crooked or maybe he isn't man enough to speak out about the current administration. i can not beleive that after having a bold faced lying weasel in office for so long that any American with half a brain is considering voting for his partner in crime. P.S. i really enjoy this forum. i get home from work at 6a.m. and read it whle waiting for my family to wake up.

Hee hee! The solar system one has been circulated for a long time, attributed to Dan Quayle! I suspect that these all get recycled and attributed to whomever, on whatever occasion. I'm sure some are probably true. And I'm not defending Al Gore!

Actually, upon re-reading, I think most of them were on the web, attributed to Quayle, at least a year ago. I remember sending them to friends on email from work, and I haven't been at a paid job for a year. They are still hilarious, however! I'll see if I can dig up the website...

Wow. I am sorry. I had them sent to me as Gore quotes! The pollution one I received a long time ago in another email which just had a bunch of beautiful politicians statements....I thought of Quayle and his poor abilities at expressing things all on my own. Anyhow, they are still funny!
