AIRLINES

Can you direct me to some credible articles as to what is actually happening in the air transportation industry that is causing so many current problems with domestic air travel? My mother (82), who lives in Florida, is concerned about taking a scheduled flight this October to New York. Thanks. Kindest regards, Michael

Nothing specific, but a lot of people blame it on y2k. Early in the year there were many emergency landings all over the world, and some air crashes in the immediate vicinity of airports.

A lot of stories out now blame it on decaying ifrastucture, too much air traffic, and antique Air Control equipment. Yuh, oh, sure, and all these things came down on our heads - all at the same time.

In this PR era of the Big Spin that we're in, it's hard to separate the truth from the truth from the truth. Or, is it the lie from the lie from the lie?

It's the weather, Michael, the weather. It's worse this year than it's ever been before--everywhere. :)
