I'm interested in getting people's opinions concerning what brand of paper has the hardest (greatest contrast) graded fiber paper.

Used to be Agfa Brovira Grade 5, followed closely by Oriental Seagull Grade 4. I haven't tried the new Seagull, but I would expect the grade 4 to be pretty contrasty. In my personal experience, the most contrasty current emulsion is Luminos Classic grade 4.

Is Brovira 6 still made? If it is, that's your hardest paper.

As near as I can tell, the highest grade of paper that is currently available is #4.

Alas, #4 does indeed seem to be the highest grade available. I remember Brovira 6 fondly. You might be able to replicate a 5+ using multigrade paper with the right filter. My filter set (Kodak) goes up to 6, but I prefer working in the 2-3 contrast range, so I haven't tried it.
