Problem: Everytime I try to capture to AVI/MPG1/MPG2 I get stuttering video and garbled audio. It's almost like a hiccup effect. Anyone ever experience this problem.

Hardware: P3/450, 9gb scsi, 98mb ram, ATI AIW128 16mb ram pci.

I double checked my connections and everything looks good. I tried capturing through ATI TV Player, MediaWave2, and VDub.

By the way, bought Dazzle a few weeks ago and finally took it back for it's poor quality captures. Yeah!

Does the video seem to loop? You might be dealing with the macrovision protection. If you are reading from a VHS tape this is probably whats going on. Get a video clarifier, or other black box macrovision remover.

Thanks Eric. That's exactly what was wrong. I was test capturing with a VHS Movie tape and kept encountering that problem. But everything is A.O.K. now. Thanks for the help.
