after a great trip to the Toon... finally touching base with the bbs crowd and appreciating what a fine bunch of lads and lasses you all are. Mrs Pete spotted a SOFTIE shirt and recognised the name - and by the way a big congratulations to you both on the new arrival.Did not get the chance to speak at length to many but enjoyed sharing a pint with Clarky and Tony Green Jr prior to Spurs and hearing Dr Bills exploits in Montseratt prior to Derby.Great to meet you all at last and agin thanks for keeping an isolated expat in The Bahamas very well informed. And since then...rumors galore(any true!) Baia in Given out Euell in (that ones big down here with a womble on the staff) Lua Lua in and a Chillean on trial Any news welcome as Thanet is as 'ungeordie' like as Abaco

It was a genuine pleasure to meet you and Tracy after cyber-communicating for so long Pete.
I only hope Mrs. PIexB has fully recovered from the Spurs game by now!! Hopefully we'll get the chance to see you again before too long - perhaps at WHL.
As ITK has already suggested, 'not being interested in football' is actually a qualification for becoming a mackem.

I didn't realise where Fanet was - we booked into Margate for the Bank Holiday weekend - turned up Friday - the hotel was pretty grim and round about dirty so drove home to sunny Manchester.
