Computer Glitch Alters Student Records Southeastern Louisiana University officials are trying to solve computer problems that have been sending the opening of school into disarray. A new computer software program is to blame, where a glitch has canceled hundreds of student loans and caused confusion about how many students are actually enrolled at the school. The university began its upgrade from the former Legacy system to the Web-based PeopleSoft system last year. The five-year cost of purchasing and implementing the software is approximately $2 million.
