What is it with Snorkel these days? Why is he such a "hot" commodity on all the sports talk shows? Let's see... hmmmm... maybe it's the fact that he hasn't put the hammer down on the SMP test loop in, what, nine months? Maybe it's the fact that he turned down one of Dairy Queen's infamous chocolate rocks this past week after posting back-to-back 21-minute test loop laps at Shawnee Mission Park? Maybe it's his wildly popular web site that hasn't been updated in over two months?

I don't know what makes Snorkel so popular. The TV ratings shoot through the roof when he's on. Probably it is the women. They flocked to Up Close in droves when Snorkel sat down for a chat with Roy Firestone. Women just love Snorkel. Maybe it's the mousse in his hair.
