YBR has been watching him against Oldham. Perhaps we may return with a bid soon and have another exciting young talent in the stiffs.

Colchester United have slapped a #7 million price tag on the head of highly rated young strike ace Lomano Lua Lua. Colchester boss Steve Whitton says that the 19-year-old is not for sale despite being watched by a whole host of scouts. Tottenham, Newcastle, Aston Villa and Arsenal have all been linked with the talented Lua Lua in the past few days. Whitton says that he doesn't want to lose the player who will again be watched by Bobby Robson on Saturday afternoon. "I watched Trevor Benjamin play for Leicester City reserves the other night and if he was worth #1.5 million to Cambridge, Lomano is worth about #7 million to us. "I haven't heard anything from any other clubs. The only enquiries I have received to date came from Newcastle and Spurs last season. "I haven't heard from anybody this season, anyway I wouldn't expect anybody to buy Lomano after just watching him once," he said.

Colchester will be rubbing their hands - and you could well be right Sting now.
We've watched this guy plenty of times. It seems to me it's make-your-mind-up-time. I still reckon a bid of #1mm would do it, but Colchester will be hoping for a bidding war which could well push the price over #1.5mm.

If he keeps going the way he is he'll be worth more and more. Like that Jason Roberts who was being touted at around 3-4 million last season who went to Baggies for 2!!

If we had a fair bit of cash last season I reckon this lad would have been our player by now. Give 'em 1 million. In the current transfer market and the threat of only contact compensation they'd be fools to turn it down.
