Gwen: Do you think your readers have no lives when they update your forum too frequently?

Forum Readers: how often do you check Gwen's Forum?

I have it set up so that all responses are emailed directly to me, so I don't miss out on a single post.

There's no way I could deal with getting updated via email on every post in this forum. I check usually once in the morning from home before leaving for work. I check during the day maybe 3-5 times. And if I'm online at all in the evenings/nights, I check at least once. If I know I'm going to be working on the computer all night (I do some graphic design at home), I'll check about once an hour. I just need that quick hit, just a 10 second break from time to time.

Yeah Keli, I noticed that...

I like the "quick hit" analogy and I do the same thing. Do I need to be in therapy now? Actually, my friends said I've never been better, since partaking of Gwen's Elixir Forum. They said it burns off some of that excess trivia I have rolling around in my brain, that used to overwhelm them. And it makes my hair shiny and manageable!

I have the email thing set up too! I think a lot of it's curiosity...a lot of interesting shtuff shows up in here and I like to read about it! Plus, if I don't come back often, by the time I get around to it there are too many new posts to read and I hate missing out!

I never fail to check this place at least daily, usually more often especially if I'm not at work. Weekends are hard for me because it seems like not much gets posted; I suspect lots of y'all must log on from the office. This is my favorite journal and forum and I always get a happy little jolt whenever there's a new entry from Gwen or new questions/replies in the forum. Somtimes I feel like a bit of a bigmouth, though. The other day out of curiosity I clicked on the "statistics" page of this forum and was shocked at how much I have actualy posted. Anyway, I really enjoy and appreciate being a part of this clever little community. I love y'all!

I have days when I'm too busy at work to check it, but on days like today, I catch up on everything that's going on and spend HOURS reading all the postings. And, Jill--how sweet!!! :-) I love ya'll tooooooo!
