I can't believe it. I've just read that poor lamb Marcelino has hurt his finger - though bugger knows how - and is forecast to be out for ... wait for it ... SIX weeks. Not six hours, nor even six days, but six bleedin weeks. No chance of him grabbing a couple of Elastoplasts, taping two fingers together and running out to help out his club currently suffering an injury crisis then ? Thought not. Overpaid pansy tw&t. The sooner you go the better you effete leech.

Another reason why I'd prefer to sign a couple of young English lads. Usually aren't the type to sit in the stands when suffering from minor injuries.

It seems that he did the tendons in his fingers when he got them trapped in a door at the training ground. However, more worrying is the facial injury that he also suffered...........seems he was picking his nose at the time it happened.

Coat.....door.....leaving....bye bye!

Just to add to your urinary irritation LT, the following is an update on some of the other injuries:

Dabizas - had an operation on his knee yesterday. Both cartiledges were damaged AND the cruciate ligament. Likely to be out for two months.

Bassedas - had the plaster off his foot yesterday. However, x-rays show the bone has not healed properly, and is still cracked. He has been told he mustn't put any weight on it for at least another two weeks, and is likely to be out another 4-6 weeks.

Cort - small tear in hamstring. Likley to be out at least 3 weeks.

On a more positive note, Rob Lee is almost fit and should be OK for the next game at Coventry. Andy Griffin is back in the squad for todays game. He is likely to be on the bench and should be available to replace Barton at Coventry.
