Great Aurail recording by Taz!!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : MAME Action Replay : One Thread

I kneel for thee Brian for your amazing score and great gameplay on Aurail!! It will at least take me a year to equal your score :)

I just confirmed it, and it plays back as it should (Even in win36)

Brian scores about 900k and dies twice at the final boss, then he kill the boss and WOW, a neat "little" bonus of 4mil is his!!

Great job Brian!

Regards

Wow, my first congratulatory post. I think my head's going to get too big over this. :) Thanks for the kind words. I was able to finish the other romset on one life (auraila) but have not yet repeated that on the tournament set.

Several folks are pushing 400K now, which means they're only a few stages away from achieving the same kinds of scores (in my group, no less). I'm hoping to see a few more multi-million recordings before the week is over.

Cheers, Brian

See now, the rest of us are too busy flattering Brian in mIRC to immortalize him on the message board.

As for the Aurail score, I would change 'hope' to 'pray.' That's what I'll be doing for Cerberus and Camel Try.

Uh, Q.T., is that because those are upcoming games (Cerberus and Camel Try) in the competition, or are those games you chose to mention for some other reason?

??? The game selection for this competition is starting to sound a little... suspicious... to me??? (not that the games are bad choices). And no Tickenest, I didn't even know about KOA using these, it just happened that those are two of the three games that Brian whupped me at in the last two weeks, and the reason I didn't mention the third is that I took it back this week. I sincerely hope it isn't in the tourney as well.

Good luck at beating Brian on Camel Try OR Cerberus. I played and finsihed Camel Try in the arcade, and 400K is not easy, let alone 477K. Thrills. I'm not even in the tourney and I'm going to have to defend my scores. Oh well.

Whoa! Wait a minute! Who said Camel Try or Cerebus was in the KoA. The games are going to be released ONE AT A TIME, and the only one been released so far is Aurail.

QT - I don't like suspicious predictions on games that haven't been told to anyone, not even in my home.

I think this was just poor phrasing by Tickenest, if I'm not mistaken. That sentence can be taken a few ways.

For the record, I have no involvement in creating or playing KOA. That's Chris' baby.
