Olympus Panorama picture taking question

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Imaging Resource Discussion : One Thread

Hi, this question is for those familiar with the panorama feature of Olympus cameras and smartmedia memory. I just bought a C-3000, and used the panorama for a series of pictures. I accidently set the wrong direction before I took the pictures. The direction was set for "left to right", but I took the pictures "right to left", and now the Olympus Camedia Master 2.0 software won't stitch them correctly, and won't let me do it manually. It always tries to do it in the direction I originally specified, left to right, but the borders of the pictures are opposite each other, when it stitches them. Is there any way to edit the pictures to change the direction, or is the only solution to retake the pictures? Thanks for the help and info!

I would use the software from http://www.pixaround.com for stitching the images. or simply Live Pictures PhotoVista! Both are great softwares. Normally you can reverse the order (R->R or R->L) in the stitching softwar, so see if you have that feature. Good luck with your stitching! -Nilesh Bhise
