I've been having meeting with agencies who are interested in working with ROP on different projects. I see that there is a dividing factor, ones that are very strategic and focus highly on research and strategy while the other companies are more of the doers. They get a project and assume that the person requesting the work knows what they want. But even the second kind of agency has to be able to make suggestions and tell the clients what will work and what won't. I think we are the second kind of agency where we are the people who get things done.

OK, this is intersting. In my other dealings, I am usually the first group but manage the team for the implementation.

To start with:

- do you think the ROP would hire us/you...on this type of basis? - what kind of stuff is the Region outsourcing for? - CAN we compete against what's out there now?

Fronting the business is a good idea...

You think ROP would hire you if you quit and did this full time? Is there enough money in this? I would think so...enough for a couple of employees as well.

I think they would hire you, but there is a definite conflict of interest if they hire me. However, this is where it might be good to use someone like Theresa or Lorraine to kind of "front" that portion of our business.
