New schedule for "ER" on TNT starting in Sept.

greenspun.com : LUSENET : ER Discussions : One Thread

Starting Sept. 5th "ER" will be shown at 6pm eastern instead of 7pm. Instead "Profiler" will be shown at 7pm.

Cammie, Does that mean EVERY night at 6pm? That stinks.

Yep. Every night at 6. But don't forget that on every Tuesday it'll be shown at 6 and 11pm eastern.

TNT is really screwing things up next month. I just read that over at another discussion board that someon looked up the schedule at tvgrid.com and not only will ER be shown every night at 6 but on Tuesdays it'll be shown at 9am, 10am, 6pm, and 11pm eastern times. They're skipping around alot as well. "Another Perfect Day" will be shown three times in one week early next month. There is no reason why they are doing that. Then in another post in the same discussion board someone said that Season 6 would start Sept. 18th. This is confusing isn't it?

Here's yet another update to next months TNT schedule. I heard that on the 5th they will reair the ER pilot at 9am eastern. Yes that is a weird time but that's what I heard from one of my friends who read that in another ER discussion board. If anyone wants to start a new thread about the pilot reairing go ahead and do so. Sorry I keep posting but I just found this new info. out when one of my friends e- mailed me.

That stinks! That will be 4pm here in Utah, and I am at work then.

Actually, starting in September, it will be on Mon-Fri at 9AM, 10AM, and 6PM, not just on Tuesdays. Episodes will be shown in order, starting with the pilot, in the mornings. Random episodes will be shown at 6PM, as well as 11PM on Tuesdays, until Season 6 starts on September 18th.

Well then someone must have screwed up because at the WB Message Boards (ER) someone said it would air at 9am, 10am, 6pm, and 11pm. So which one id it?

Sorry, I forgot to add Tuesday in my previous post.

Can I just say that I *love* TNT right now!!! At first I was really worried that they were showing ER 3 or 4 times a day, the first time being 7:00 am here, because I thought they might be dropping "Lois and Clark," which is my second favorite show next to ER. But, instead they're just showing "L&C" at 6:00 am, so I'm really happy! I wish I didn't have to be at high school until about 8:30, then I'd be able to start my day with the two best shows. By the way, if any else watched "L&C," wasn't it horrible when ABC canceled it? I'm glad that NBC definitely renewed ER for four more years, or I'd be worried the same thing might happen if ratings were ever to fall. Although they won't because ER is the best drama on TV!!!

Anyway, even though it's confusing, I like TNT's new schedule. And they're actually showing The PILOT!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!

Sorry, I'm extremely jazzed on coffee right now because I got up at 5:30! I probably sound insane! lol!

I forgot to add that the pilot will be on Sept. 5th from (EST) 9:00 am- 11:00 am. And the whole Marathon Schedule is also on tvgrid.com, in case anyone is wondering exactly what it is. This is very confusing!

Here's the final poop on the TNT schedule.

The marathon is on labor day. After that it's Monday-Friday at 9 am, 10 am, and 6 pm Eastern With an additional episode on Thursday nights.

The 9 and 10 am episodes are back to back in sequence (example... Wednesday the 6th it's Day One at 9 and Going Home at 10).

The 6 pm shows are in sequence starting 9/18/00, which is the first episode of season 6. Before that they are indeed playing random Episodes. (the three days before that they are playing Fathers and Sons, Family Practice, and Middle of Nowhere. I think it's boring- eppy week)

The Tuesday 11pm episodes will be sequenced as well, once a week, starting on 9/19 with 6-1 Leave it To Weaver. The following week it's 6-2 Last Rites.

Now the bad news...they seem to be skipping the Christmas episodes still because How the Finch Stole Christmas is not listed. I hate this policy. I was kind of hoping everyone would vote for all the Christmas episodes for the marathon just so they'd play them before Christmas. C'mon TNT. Get with it.

I like the back to back morning episode idea though. And I actually like it better at 6 eastern, because then I don't have problems taping shows at 8 eastern.

Peace out!

Hey I figured it something out. If there's 16 episodes a week times 4 weeks, that's 64 episodes. Total of episodes so far is 135 I think. So in two months TNT will have shown 128 episodes. Now the six of the seven are Christmas episodes. So that means in around two months you will have seen almost every episode ever on TNT. Am I right about this? I thought this was cool. I was just thinking about that while I was watching "ER" tonight on TNT.

WHOA! All those numbers (head spinning) I feel a mirgrane coming on! But I went to the TNT thigy and that confused me, so I would like to thank all of you who helped clear this up, I wasn't even aware of the change till I read it here so thanks! And I jsut wanna say, itsn't September 4th the best day to have an ER marathon! For me, it's the best B-day present!!!!
