I am mad. TNT preempted ER for golf. Yuck! Tennis is one thing but golf? I don't know what episode they'll be showing on Monday now. Anyone else mad?

I came home from my friend's birthday party at 6:30, ready to kick back, relax and watch Point of Origin, which I have *never* seen, and look what's on...I'm not mad, I'm furious! First the damn democratic convention, now GOLF?!

COOL! I spent the evening out at the movies (the awful SPACE COWBOYS) and forgot to set my VCR. Glad to know I didn't miss a perfectly good episode of ER while watching a laughably bad movie!

I'm from Canada and I don't think we have TNT reruns of ER, so I don't have to face these frustrations (to put it lightly?) that many of you seem to have. But I pity you all! And it seems like the ER at 10pm on Thursdays has been pre-empted for the Democratic National Convention? (i think) Do you only have ER on Thursday nights on NBC? Cause we have it on NBC and CTV (Canadian) and NBC recently has the Convention, but we still got to watch ER on CTV. Ok I'm rambling now, but I just want you all to know that I feel for you, and I hope soon that NBC will show ER again, and that TNT will show ER instead of Golf. ugh.....golf!?

I was just at the WB Message Boards (ER) and someone posted that starting Sept. 5th, "ER" will be seen at 6 eastern instead of 7 eastern. "Profiler" will be on at 7 eastern after "ER". I'd thought I'd let you know that. Should I start a new thread about this in case there are people who don't read this thread or not?

Sorry if this has already been posted but I just read on tvgrid.com that TNT will start S6 on Sept. 18th at 6pm with Leave it to Weaver. I'm so glad because I missed the first 3 episodes of S6.
