i've copied the .mpg file to a CD-R media. how do i play it in a VCD player (autoload) ? i noticed that there'r some folders in an original VCD such as EXT, CDI, KARAOKE, and so on ...what are those files ?

I just need to know how to create a VCD that works on any external player (assuming my VCD player can read CDR media) Thanks !!!!

You can use either Easy CD Creator Deluxe Version or Win On CD 3.6 / 3.7 Power Edition.

You MUST use vcd authoring to create a real VCD, otherwise it's just a disk with a mpg file on it. It would be impossible for someone using regular cd-r software to create a perfect VCD image.

Also, nero 4.x + can also create VCD's. If you are using linux there is a new tool to create vcd images from mpg data, it's posted somewhere on the www.vcdhelper.com site.

Happy encoding.
