Derailment Creates Hazardous Spill
Hazardous materials crews are working to clean up 18-thousand gallons of diesel fuel and battery acid that spilled when a train derailed near Scofield Reservoir yesterday morning. Two people were injured when two of three engines of a Southern Pacific freight train came off the tracks below the reservoir and spilled the material. Authorities say it will take two to three days to clean up the spill.
