OUTRAGEOUS!

World Cup qualifiers after Wembley closes are going to Anfield and Villa Park. The former has a smaller capacity than SJP, the latter has about the same (but had to knock down the famous Trinity Riad entrance to achieve this). WE are told that we may get a game next year. This is outrageous.

Villa Park is a strange decision indeed.
None at OT, with a capacity over 60,000, or SJP & SOL with capacities over 50,000?
Bizarre, but fairly typical of the sweet FA, I guess.

They're keeping the 'important' last ones for the real grounds or SOL if it doesn't matter.

Are the vast open spaces in the stands at Villa Park on a matchday reminiscent of Wembley when England play?

Wasn't it said at the time that it was Kevin Keegan's choice as to where these matches would be played? Cheers Kev!

deadly Doug obviously put up some money for this.

I gather the Mackems are getting KK to open their new stand on Saturday, too.
