Electronic Attacker Sought
Edmonton RCMP have teamed up with the FBI in trying to find out who launched a 'denial-of-service' attack yesterday, on an Edmonton Internet service provider. OA Group was overwhelmed with bogus requests from one or more computer systems, crippling the service provider. The electronic attack has been traced to Chicago, and investigators continue to narrow the possible origins.
