Hi Mungo! Can't get my pass stamped for any away games anymore. Baby due any time now and too much month left at the end of the money. Enjoy yourself now, it'll have to be better than last season. Maybe "SuperGeordie" will take on the entire Greater Manchester Police Force on his own again :-)

Screacher and Josh! Congratulations, you have just secured tickets for Old trafford. Usual rules apply, as always tickets sold at face value, #23, but I won't be offended or embarrassed if you want to force a bottle of Becks/Holsten Pils into my mit as well. :-)

Screacher - I never received your text message last weekend. Josh - I never spotted your earlier request for a ticket, sorry. Dougal - Do you want a ticket as well?

Now the hard bit, I'm really busy working from home so can you 3 talk to each other and Screacher contact me by phone to find out the best way to get the tickets to you. I'll not be going to the Bridge and will arrive at OT late so I don't want to stand outside the turnstiles trying to meet you when it's going to be packed! (Will I post them to you Screach?)

Finally, if any of you wants tickets for any away game this season, ask in plenty of time. I may have to say no on occasions, but the chances are I will be able to sort you out.

Thanks, Mungo. I'm all for spreading the Toon Army faith to littl'uns so it's fine if you give the ticket to one of Josh's wee'uns particularly since they are in Manchester already. I'm always up for whatever away tickets there are - after this, I don't intend to miss a single one. I can apply on my Leazes middle ticket and on Jonno's but I ma sure I'll be begging you for tickets - probably for Coventry in about two weeks' time. By the way, I had some trouble trying to e mail you over the summer. There was a Euro2000 ticket going (although all things considered you were probably better of not knowing). I've applied for England v Germany and I'm fairly hopeful that I'll get some: will let you know what happens.

Give me a break, Screach: 1) After my rantings about the difficulty of ensuring that bairns join the Toon Army, what sort of a stinking hypocrite would I be if I didn't try to help make sure that Josh's bairns get a chance to see the lads? Particularly bearing in mind that they have sore temptation from Man United, given where they live. 2) I have in fact already booked my ticket to the Toon for Sunday and WHILE I did think of saying "f...k it" and just writing off this expense, I have a week's hol in Newcastle plus an away to pay out of this month's salary, having already borne the expense of a season ticket that was much more expensive than I'd thought it would be. I'm also trying to sort out two flats! May also have to pay for some England v Germany tickets. 3)In truth, don't particularly want to run risk of bumping into w....r ex-boyfriend (which I could well do and if I never see him again, it's too soon) 4) Don't want to meet LR ((-:
