I have to take my 12 lb Maine Coon on an airplane, we have one connection to make, which means waiting at two boarding areas. I am taking him on board the airplane with me and have purchased a large size Sherpa Carrier for him. From point A to Point B will be 5 hours with one stop. Coming home, the same idea, around 6 hours with one stop to change planes. Any recommendations for a sedative to help him get though this. I can ask my vet but I would like some feedback on any positive/negative experiences with giving them. I don't mind trying the trip down without dosing him, but I would like to have something with me just in case I need it on the trip back home. Thanks
