Apparently Arsene Wenger is refusing to buy Sylvian Wiltord for #15m due to the impending 'Perugia' case in which transfer fees may be scrapped.

Chelsea will look even sillier than usual then. Seriously though it could be the reason why we have not bought anyone else?

Screacher - the judgment merely states European employment law so it's pretty much in effect now. However, governments etc are likely to make representations and seek an exemption from parts of the relevant EU legislation. I don't think this will go without a fight.

I'm only guessing but I think the real reaon we haven't spent huge amounts is errrr we're skint.
