and it hasn't nothing to do with the first game of the season. Tomorrow I start work in the real world (for the first time) and am absolutely bricking it. I've just had 6 hours intensive Japanese lessons in two days (nowt like leaving it to the last minute) and feel rather unprepared.Anyway have phone will hunt, wish me luck.

New jobs are always the same. You panic a bit, think you're not going to be able to do the job etc..In 3 months time you'll look back at the day you started and wonder what all the fuss was about.

You're not wrong there Gav, at the moment I'm trying to work out how to explain to someone (in Japanese) why I, as a foreigner, wants to speak to their boss. I think it would be hard enough to come up with a lie in English never mind Japanese. At the moment I'm working on I'd like to have a conversation with him. Original or what?
