I put this here as so many are asking about fill flash. In this image the sun is coming from the right side of the animal so I exposed for that. i then added 1 2/3 underexposed flash. Why? cause if i didn't there would be no detail in the left side and in the tail in the shade. This was taken with a EOS1n and a 300mm with 2x converter. The flash only effects the darker side it will not add anything to the lighter side and make it lighter. This also had a 81A filter on the lens
