Lets inject some pace.

The only reasons, and there always is if you look into it for the -: Big Yin to move on are I feel -: (a) Medically he is a liability. (b) Playing Al and Dunc leaves Cort for one on the bench (c) Anyone else in the EPL play with the likes of 2 slow movers? (d) Awesome, vastly overated description used by most of their partnership. still unproven in my eyes, it restricts YBR choice and pattern of play in other areas and could clamp the creative ability if any of his recent buys. (e) The kissing of the badge, sticking the heed in -v- Roma,a brilliant goal against Manure, seen it all before!!! I like Dunc in small doses, over the piece and it will be a small portion, cos he has a high center of gravity which does not lend itself to his style of play, hence his injuries. (f) 2 million would get Burchill, fast, can score one to one, on list, 19 years, nah he would not sit on bench, YBR may be happy with what he has left, who knows, pace is the name of the game, pace allied with technical ability is one hell of a bonus.

Plenty of logic in moving Dunc on, not arguing with those. And realize it's got to happen sooner or later. But I'm still going to be upset to see him go. Mainly cause I love players with passion..which he's got by the bucketload. His fist-waving goal celebrations were no fakes. Nor his ferocious game face. Maybe it's cause all I really saw of him first hand was that run of games from Christmas into January last year(plus Roma and Manure on telly). I wasn't that sold on him until then. All logic goes right out of it for me. This is why there's no danger of my ever being hired as a manager of anything. ;-))

I'm hoping he goes, always thought he dosen't realy fit in. I'm hoping that we get Mpenza, but would settle for Burchill if we are a bit hard up. What we need is a good 'little un' with great pace that can shoot straight and feed off either Shearer or Cort. Then again perhaps we have the answer in Cordone?

Don't forget Coppinger Rik.

I'm happy to see that little coppinger is banging them in for the reserves, There's also that Shola Amoebi, who's looking like a big strong Carl Cort 2. it'll be interesting to see how this pair do in the reserves this season.
