nufc.com say we beat Darlo 10-2 this afternoon with 7 goals from Michael Chopra the England Junior and player currently weighed down with "the next Alan Shearer" tag. Great result.

Seems to me that the defensive problems of the first eleven are manifesting themselves in the bairns. We need a good defensive coach. I wonder what "Lorro" is doing these days........ ouch, stop it. I didn't mean it, honest, That's not fair. Put that chair leg down. Nurse!

Indeed. Conceding 2 against lowly Darlington bodes ill for the future. It's all doom and gloom I'm afraid, if we're being realistic.

BTW I think Chopra's now got 13 goals this season already. Very much the new Alan Shearer and obviously a flat track bully. I suspect they were mostly penalties were they?

Did you say he was the next number 9 or "Shearer 59 pen" which I believe may well be on his birth certificate?

And anyway I thought Rik would be all over this thread like a rash, Chopra not his favourite rising starlet?

Hahahah Jonno : - ) I wouldnt be surprised if when he does get in the first team he'll score a lot of his goals in meaningless cup competitions ( Fa Cup , Uefa cup ... ) which of course dont really count , do they ?

Ooooo the boys done good, I'll have to dig out that old article on chopra. Actually I reckon that this Shola Amoebi lad will turn out to be one of the better reserves this season. Chopra is still 2 or 3 years away.
