Your's sounds canny as well sting.....I haven't been home in so long that it's starting to be a family joke :(( oh by the way, our young said he'd love to meet up with ya for a beer before the Derby N Spurs games as long as you promise not to give him a hard time for making your nickname up....He's quite astonished that it's taken hold and that you're even calling yourself Sting these days ;)))

Prob off to me Ma's on Sunday ingloriousBlyth (by which time, Dougal should have left the area) and then work up in N'cl Mon/Tues before heading north to MacBethland on Weds. Before that - well, I'll probably cut the hedge and do some more grass. I'll be studying a bit of Hungarinan over the w/e.

Off to The Lakes for the weekend for a couple of strolls. We were intending to do some serious walking but wor lass has managed to 'acquire' an infected toe, so gentle strolls it is.We're booked into the (VERY expensive) Sharrow Bay Hotel on Ulverston for a late wedding anniversary dinner. I'm told it's top drawer - anyone been? If it's cr@p - PLEASE don't tell me.

Footie on the radio and Grand Prix on the telly. Bit of decorating. Lots of spreadsheeting. Consoling a sobbing Mrs Softie from time to time (she must be a Johnny Herbert fan).

Today - uploading CV to a few UK jobs sites, contacting a few other places I was told about last night for some work here(so I can afford the flights over thereSat - My first MLS away game. Courtesy of the NE Revs. They're taking everyone who's worked all the games so far this season to New Jersey to watch the game v the Metrostars.
Sun - sleep, probably listen to the Pensioners wallop the other London team(after maybe 4hrs sleep, danged if I'm going out to a pub to watch), watch the US women beat someone on telly, listen to our Espanyol webcast(if there is one!) or else sit nervously at my computer awaiting updates....anyone here going and willing to text updates to someone at a computer??
