Aaah, no big deal Z, don't worry about it. The brush in the forests just got too thick, so all the bushes agreed that this would be a good time to just simultaneously explode, all the way across the country. Happens all the time, the weather has nothing to do with it. The planet isn't getting warmer, it's getting colder. I swear I saw a snowflake last night.

You have to live thru this type thing to learn to appreciate normalcy. So far I have seen ashes falling on my home but none were hot enough to start another fire Thank God. Montana is hot and dry this year (was same in 1998 when yellowstone burned up) and the grass actually crunches when you walk across it.

It is the older people who have lived most of their lives in their communities that make living here enjoyable. People in the smaller areas do care about their nieghbors and are always willing to help.

I will give you one piece of advice; STAY Out of Montana until the snow flies. The western valleys are filled with smoke and fires are breaking out all over. The Governor has closed most of the forests to any kind of use. The loggers are now out of work and are volunteering to fight the fires along with about every other free person in the vicinity. If it is raining where you are get out and enjoy it!
