c.v. novice rider pratice

greenspun.com : LUSENET : New England Motocross Racing : One Thread

Someone was asking on the new board how the rider who was hurt in the novice practice was. I can not post there but, I was at the E-rm and they told me the first guy did not make it thru pratice. They said he was up stairs and would be setting off metal detectors for a while. I guess he broke his femur. I hope he has a smooth recovery. That track sucked and the reason was the jumps. some of the doubles could not be rolled without practically stopping and the landings were a joke. running it backwards is fine but I hate when your can't see where you are landing until you are in the air! I think that was a expert track. Don't tacking a good day of racing for granted, have fun!

All the doubles should be filled in and made into table top's. ( there's probably three that should be done, , the one after the pump house, the one after the top section after you come down the hill into the sweeper, and the one after the start ) i know they do a good job, and the best effot, but this need's to be done. you can never go wrong with table top jump's, it's better for the lesser skilled rider and novices. beside's they would get more rider's too because table top's are safe. every one ( and even the girl's can work there way up to doing them !!!

Steve Lapointe will not be designing the track at CV next year because he is tired of all the bullshit. You think you can do a better job go down there and sign up. Lets see what you come up with! It'll probably be another middleboro.

Jason, you cant even call middleboro motocross racing !! its like flat track racing ! Its sad when you can drive a truck around the whole track at middleboro ! I will have to drop stevo a line. are you racing the supercross at the marshfield fair in MA ? I will be there.. its the one Dana Johnson is involved with ! it sould be a good time ! the NESC is not involved at all ! :)

hey Mr. Levallee, first of all think about what u say befoe you say it ! i, in no way shape or form degrade Steve, he creates an excellent and challenging track. i said a couple of thing's to make it better for the novices and girls. My small suggestions are for just small improvement's, not the "big change". And another thing i race with Steve and also am a assoc. member of CV. and further more, after earning my expert status 24 years agowhen i was 17, you should be more of a listener !! Adios...
