Dc290 Viewfinder

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Imaging Resource Discussion : One Thread

I have recently purchased a Kodak DC290 camera and find a vertival discrepancy with what I see in the viewfinder and the actual captured image. I assume the rectangle in the middle of the viewfinder is the centre. Does anyone else have this problem or am I not interperting the viewfinder correctly. Daryl Hooke (Australia)

Daryl, That is called Parallax - evident in non TTL viewfinders. You just have to get used to it. =(
