in the inside pages of your newspapers, NEWTON HEATH lost:

SORRY START FOR BARTHEZ Fabien Barthez suffered a miserable debut for Manchester United in the final of Bayern Munich's Centenary Tournament at the Olympicstadion as Sir Alex Ferguson's men went down 3-1. DAVID BECKHAM MISSED A second-half PENALTY and United's defence looked badly out of sorts for most of the game as the tournament hosts gained some sort of revenge for their ROBBERY in the 1999 Champions League final. Barthez was beaten by a Mehmet Scholl penalty on the brink of half-time before German international Alexander Zickler struck twice in the second half. Quinton Fortune's late effort was no more than small consolation for United boss Ferguson.

Have a nice day...

it's kind of gratifying to hear that they are all out of sorts, and since we aren't great shakes right now either, it gives me reason for cheer. Becks must have missed the pen 'cos the ball was round or something.....;-)

Following on from Euro2000, all our PL sides are presently losing against European opposition.
I'm hoping this is simply because our teams are behind Johnny in their preparations, but I have some doubts.

Beckham must've missed cos he'd heard about his missus's latest blunder....the stupid cow has only come out and said that her husband likes to dance around the kitchen singing "I'm a gay icon, I'm a gay icon"....

I TRULY am starting to feel sorry for him.....maybe she hates him and is out to ruin him?
