I've had it a while but only today did I take it to a photographers dream parade (hundreds of little kids dressed in bright Spanish clothes) and shot a hundred pictures in the staging area in an hour. I kept the battery pack in my fanny pack which I wore in the front and ran the cord up to my Nikon 990. I kept the camera and monitor on the whole time although I never once looked at the monitor.

An hour isn't enough time to evaluate the life expectancy of the battery but what impressed me was the fact that I was never in the slightest aware I was using it. The cord was totally unobtrusive which was a worry I had when I bought it. I'm off to Alaska for ten days in a few weeks and then I will be able to judge the batter life.
