Hi Dan, I've sent an e-mail in your direction which may or may not arrive depending on whether Lineone is in a cooperative mood this week.

I'll just temporarily delurk for the benefit of the good people here. I've only really been an avid Newcastle supporter since the 92/93 season though I did use to go to home games back in the early 80s before Keegan had even joined as a player (for the benefit of Dan: I went with "Baggy" and, occasionally, "David Bell".) I haven't in all honesty that much to say because I'll just show off my ignorance, but I have been been reading this forum for a while now and I do find the level of discussion exceptionally informed and intelligent. Prior to discovering this site I was stuck with reading that rec.sports.toon-army newsgroup mostly populated by morons and Mackems. Thanks, all, for providing an entertaing site.

Hi Gareth! Always great to hear from a 'lurker' ;-) It is a great board and always one of the first places i visit online.....theres so many good posts though I barely have time to read them all never mind contribute much myself!

Hope to hear from more lurkers this season so we can get a few extra opinions on the team etc.....I suppose the main topic at the minute is the same as this time last year...DONT PANIC, THEYRE ONLY FRIENDLIES!!
