Tourney 5 - Time to vote for games!greenspun.com : LUSENET : MAME Action Replay : One Thread |
Same rules as tourney 4 - Games supported by MAME 35 will only be allowed(though I wish I could allow MAME 37 beta 5 games...) - and only one vote / game - all successive votes don't count - so PLEASE pay attention to all of the votes. The deadline for this vote is August 31st, 2359 GMT.

-- Dean Ryan (crash@tcp.co.uk), August 04, 2000.
Well, it's the first time I'm going to vote, so I don't hope I'm doing something wrong.1. New Rally X (I know, I know :-) ) 2. Canyon Bomber 3. Rainbow Islands
Bye.
-- Frankie (frankie@image.dk), August 04, 2000.
Noooooo!!! No more Rally X, please!!!Ahem... My votes are: 1) Twinkle Star Sprites - for shooter fans, and those who like 5 minute games... 2) Elevator Action - for those who like old games (and one I am actually OK at) 3) Samurai Shodown II - for fighter fans, and to annoy BeeJay :)
-- Barry Rodewald (bsr@hn.pl.net), August 04, 2000.
Hmmm I guess my my vote will be:1 Ghost4s & Goblins 2.Wonderboy 3.Moon Patrol
Come on Beejay!! Help me now!
ps Gameboy9: You have voted for WindJammers.. Correct me if I4m wrong but I think Windjammers don4t playback correctly.(I may be wrong of course.)
Regards
QRS
-- QRS (qrs@telia.com), August 05, 2000.
hmmm........this is a pretty tough choice..........1. Defend the Terra Attack on the Red UFO "redufo" - tedious, but good to see the scores on it go flying :)
2. Pac & Pal "pacnpal" - I'd like to see this game's scores skyrocket as well, instead of being around 200K :)
I can't think of any others; I'll drop back in if I can think of another.
Sincerely,
J.D. Lowe
-- J.D. Lowe (jedidrunkenllama@hotmail.com), August 05, 2000.

My votes:1. Defender 2. Renegade 3. Rainbow Islands
-- JSW (usagi@dingoblue.net.au), August 06, 2000.
Actually, scratch Renegade as that wasn't working in MAME 0.35. Instead I'll pick the working clone - Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-Kun (Japan Bootleg)
-- JSW (usagi@dingoblue.net.au), August 06, 2000.
I hope I'll get the opportunity to participate in this one, if not, at least I can submit my votes. They are:

1. gradius 2. rainbow islands 3. tempest
-- david oliver (davedude1414@yahoo.com), August 06, 2000.
Well, since I just removed my MAME 35 by accident, I don't know if all three of these are valid votes, but anyway:1. Blockout, my personal favorite, would like to spend more time here. 2. Crazy Balloon. I'd love to see the later stages in this game. 3. Moon Patrol. I suck at this game, but really like it anyway. :-)
-- Abbe (Albin@518.nu), August 07, 2000.
1. Phoenix 2. Paperboy, hard way 3. track&field
-- Tommi (tiihoto@hotmail.com), August 07, 2000.
Hmm... I count at least 3 votes for Moon Patrol...As usual, I'm having a lot of trouble coming up with enough games, but I think I've managed this time:
1. Crazy Kong
2. Bagman
3. Donkey Kong Jr.
I've always liked Donkey Kong Jr., but I was never any good at it, so having it in a tournament would be a good way for me to be forced to become good at it. :-)
Cheers, Ben Jos.
-- Ben Jos Walbeehm (walbeehm@walbeehm.com), August 07, 2000.
Another astute observation from Ben Jos. I think QRS was first to vote it, so the others need to vote for something different, right?I still don't have a #3 yet; sorry :(
Sincerely,
