I know of several other buildings which are using fuel cells.

One installation that has been online for a little while is First National Bank of Omaha's new 200,000-sq. ft. Technology Center in downtown Omaha, Nebraska. This building uses fuel cells manufactured by Sure Power, instead of emergency generators, to keep their computer center running. Sure Power is marketing this system all over the US, and has leasing options to keep the costs down. Check www.hi- availability.com.

Fuel cells will be installed on two projects I am currently working on. The Greater Newark Conservancy will be using a GE Microgen 7000. This is a small fuel cell unit designed for the home market. Also, the central plant for the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center complex is likely to include fuel cells, although the size has yet to be determined pending third party funding.

Finally, I believe 4 Times Square in NY has a fuel cell.
