What movie would you like someone to make?

Their already making it...the first Lord of the Rings movie comes out next year!

Black Easter (the only truly frightening book I ever read (by Blish)), of course. I think the special effects stuff could make it workable nowadays. Of course it will never happen, at least the way it was written. Virtually a one room one act play. But nonetheless...it could be SO COOL!

"A Confederacy of Dunces." It just seems so RIGHT for the big screen, manic, funny, chock-full o' memorable characters. Years ago I would have voted for John Belushi as perfect for the role of Ignatius Reilly, but alas....

Certainly BLACK EASTER would be better than that stupid END OF DAYS thingee, Dave. I personally would love them to do a version of Theodore Sturgeon's MORE THAN HUMAN, which they could do with a minimum of special effects. (I'm looking forward to the sci-fi channel's version of DUNE, which will be different from the DeLaurentis version.)---Al

I would like to see something that tried to re-create the world of Arthur C. Clarke and his RAMA series......an amazing world of exploration and discovery.

I am dying for someone to make a movie about the Antarctic explorer Shackleton and his ill-fated expedition in 1914. It's an incredible story and has been getting a lot of attention in the last year or two. The book Endurance, published as a companion to a NYC exhibit on the expedition, was a bestseller last year, and for good reason. Thrilling stuff...
