When's the U21 game at Pride Park?

I live not too far away and wouldn't mind going to that.

Cheers, Dolly.

Derby will host the European Under-21 championship qualifier between England and Germany on October 6. The Pride Park club have been granted the prestigious fixture after last year's friendly against France attracted a 32,865 crowd, a record for an England game at that level.

Under-21s boss Howard Wilkinson said: "Derby created a fantastic record last time they held an under-21 fixture.

"It would be tremendous for the midlands supporters to once again show their support for this hugely attractive fixture, and hopefully improve on that record."

Thanks for the info Softie.

I think I'll pop along to that. I'll be living in Derby by then so it won't be too far to go either!

Will anyone else be going? Could meet up for a drink before/after if you like?

Cheers, Dolly.

Wembley Dougal, I thought it would be half demolished by now. Keegan did infer that we would host a game didn't he? I am beginning to think I've dreamt the whole thing up. Thanks for putting me right, saves me looking like a tit when pretending to be an authority on the subject when I'm pissed (c;

Tony, oh yes, Keegan wanted it at SJP or Anfield but the FA wanted it at Wembley the same as they wanted the Cup semis at Wembley (despite the unfair advantage it gave Chelsea and the fact that they'd have surrendered to wor wall of noise at Old Trafford so we basically lost the Cup thanks to the FA and Wembley).
