Blackburn Rovers look to have almost sold another of their transfer listed players with the news that Darren Peacock is expected to complete a free transfer to Portsmouth.

Peacock was one of those players transfer listed by Souness at the end of last season after featuring just once in a game managed by the manager.

It looked like the player could be left in limbo for a while as there had been little reported interest in him, but Portsmouth manager Tony Pullis has made a move.

Peacock was at Portsmouth's training ground yesterday and could seal the move later today.

As Rovers paid nothing for Peacock's services when Roy Hodgson bought him at the beginning of the 1997 season, I believe they aren't after a fee for the player.

So does that mean that TSM letting Peacock go to Blackburn on a free valued him correctly after all ?
