Cool! And I thought I was the only "bored kid" photographer. I have several of these that I like. Love the brown tone to this one. It has a nostalgic look to it. Good shot.

I am loving that C41 B&W film! (I love the camera too...but haven't tried the combination...) I didn't like the first generation of it very much, but this stuff is great.... very smooth and tons of latitude as you can see... Very nice pic too, sort of Sally Mann-esque...

Did the bride like it? She should have done - it captures a mood beautifully.

Is this a straight scan? I really like the way the background is brighter than the girl without being so bright that it takes over.

Struan - I haven't shown the bride (you obviously figured out it was a wedding :). Thanks for the kind comment. The scan is "straight" from the negative except for a crop and an adjustment in brightness/contrast. No burning or dodging or what have you.

Chris - Thanks for the kind comment. I personally find 400CN hard to use _properly_ although it is a wonderful film. There is a technique to using it to its fullest potential and I'm still learning how.

Tony - Thanks to you too. Kids are always a joy to photograph. Amusingly enough, the brown tone comes from scanning the negative - very convenient :)
