I received direct from Panasonic the proposed 2.51 update last night which corrects the fault in PAL where a DV Type 1 input file is read at 0.303 frames per second. The update corrects this to 25 fps and the frame size is 720 x 576 instead of the previous 360 x 288.

Look out for the release, problem solved!

Like I said I was privy to the release for testing against my critisms of the encoder in PAL and you will unfortunately have to wait for Panasonic to release it.

Its no longer the best encoder, you all should be switching to TPMGEnc whilst its free!
