EATON RAPIDS, MICHIGAN -- Residents are being
advised to boil their water after routine tests turned up
evidence of bacteria in the public water supply.

Sampling turned up signs of coliform bacteria Saturday,
said Scott Poyer, the city's Department of Public Works
superintendent. That finding points to the presence of
disease-causing organisms.
