I find it very diheartening that hes not had a major injury for 9 years then joins us and this happens , says it all really ... CHRRIST MAN i cannit handle another one of THOSE seasons .. my hopes are rapidly becoming fears and the season hasnt started : - ((

ugh! Must have come from the comic book collision between him and Lee in Columbus. I was amazed to see them both get up from that one! Hopefully he'll recover a bit faster than 6 weeks.

Apparently it wasn't the collision with Lee that did the damage, according to the Journal he played with the broken foot for at least 20 minutes!

Would you put that down to never-say-die bravery or just plain stupidity ? I'd go for the latter. He must have known something was wrong, and might even have shortened the repair period if he'd come off as soon as it happened.

On the other hand, I have been known to look on the black side, rather than the black and white, so there probably wasn't a thing he could have done about it. Hope so.
