Please dont talk to me about 'dead'. Theres a MAJOR storm in Basildon at the moment+ I heard a huge cracking noise on the wall beside me followed by the loudest ever thunder.

It scared the s**t out of me....wheres the safest place away from lightning? Im sure ive heard of people getting killed indoors by lightning........aaarrrrgggghhhhh- and no smart answers like, go outside under a tree ;-)

My Grandmother used to put rubber gloves on and sit on a hotwater bottle under the stairs!! Sometimes she used to do it when it was thundering and lightening too!!!! Hang in there Spud - you`ll be OK, don`t fret. (:o)

Missed Battle of Britain, Pilgrim! Just back from seeing a patient in casualty who lost it totally- he smashed the chairs+tables in the psychiatric room to smitherings and we needed EIGHT policemen(he was 6'8) to pin him down for a bum jab LOL!
