I'd like to read Larry McMurtry on-line. I love his humour and he writes his women characters about as good as any male author I know of. Plus, if he would write anything more about 'Gus" from Lonesome Dove I'd fall on my knees. If music by Sarah McLaughlin,et.al is known as 'vagina music' then the 'vagina writers' would be Sue Miller, Anne Tyler, Alice Hoffman and I'd love to read a serial by any one of these.

I have this aversion to reading "books" on line. David Gerrold has given me two of his as-yet-unpublished books on disk for me to critique for him, and I just can't get through them, though the one I've read about half of I'm enjoying very much. I guess I separate things like "e-mail" and "journals" from recreational reading. It's actually even taken me awhile to get around to reading Patrick's stories (though I'm glad that I've now read them). Call me weird, but "books" are for holding in your hand and fingering the pages as you read.

I would be more interested in other writing genres. If Peter Jenkins, Robin Lee Graham, Anne LaBastille, or William Least Heat Moon wanted to write on-line installments of their latest adventures, I would be very happy.

My dad named me after a Marvel Comics Superhero from the 40's. The character was eventually discontinued. I'd like to see more adventures written about this superhero - Kinda cool. But your question was focused on a novel, therefore, I would like to see something adventurous and entertaining, such as a Dirk Pitt adventure by author Clive Cussler. Other favorites include Ken Follett, Patricia Cornwell, James Patterson - and the list goes on......
