Getting date of photo from camera to computer.

I use my Ricoh RDC-2 for taking photographs of buildings, &c. as a basis for producing macros for insertion into Flight Simulator 2000. I find the stiching very useful for this but I cannot get the date as shown on the camera screen to appear on my Computer. I am not stiching it out. Are any RDC-2 users able to do this please?

I know you're trying to get the date to automatically appear on the image, but you could simply add text to the file with any editing program capable of even simple text. The dates that are shown on digicams are typically extracted from data stored in the EXIF file header. You need a program which understands those headers and can extract the data and then superimpose it on the image stored in the same file. Unless it comes with the camera, it's a specialty thing. Maybe one of the graphics viewing or editing programs can do it? Something like Irfan View or the like?

Good Luck!
