Hello to you all.

I want to back up all my video clips to a Mpeg 2 format. So later on when DVD recorders become affordable, or when Adobe Premiere lets you edit a Mpeg 2 file, than I will be well prepared. What software Mpeg2 encoder do you all recommend, and what are the setting you would suggest?
