How can that make sense?

Surely if he is worth that, then Petit must be worth something similar. How big is this deal?

Overmars has been to the press saying it is him for #25m.......well he would do wouldn't he. I noticed he said it's to have Manu (?) next him when he is unveiled to the press.....what, to hold his hand the great (expansive) nancy..:-)

I think Arsenal have done extremely well in the deal. 32 million!!! They were never going to keep Overmars cos he was dead set on leaving, and Petit is getting on now, despite still being awesome. The only thing I would criticize, is the timing of the deal. Two crucial players leaving 3 weeks before the season!

I think Overmars should pass some of that lolly on to one Allesandro PissedOne, after all he's the one that made Overmars look out of this world (as in 'Overthemoon') in the 1998 FA Cup Final, in front of a world-wide audience!
