Just asking like - should be a good crack for those that can make it.

And does anyone happen to know when was the last time we played down at Turf Moor ?

I'm thinking about going - probably try to drag Pilgrim & Josh along. I think I was still in short trousers (not!) last time we played there. Is it likely to be a strong team we put out or are they all injured??

March 1983, Old second Division, Away, we lost 1-0 (won the home leg 3-0 earlier in the season). Follow the link:

Beware!!! This database led directly to the formation of the Corinthian League....you'll never work again....divorce material this is!

I'm up for it Screach, though I might have to take Pilgrim Junior.

Is it "pay at the door"?

I might go :o)

Nee idea Pilgrim. From what I've heard it's more likely to be "mortgage at the door". Ten quid for a friendly. I remember when it was 3/- for a (proper) First Division match and 3/6 if you went in the posh end (note the lower case "p" before anybody comments).

I'll call you Sunday/Monday.

Josh - I'm almost defo up for it. So is Pilgrim (and likley Jr). Happy to drive. Dunno 'bout where to meet. What time's KO - 7:30??

Problem - baby sitter required - Mrs Josh is out and its a bit late to bring the bairns with me. All normal options are on holiday.

How long do you reckon it'll take to get to Burnley (or more relevantly get back ?).

Josh,

An hour will do it.

Does anyone know if there will be a webcast? The official s*ite doesn't say anything.

-- Anonymous, July 29, 2000

I'll see if I can find a sitter - I'll be in touch tonight.

-- Anonymous, July 30, 2000

Pilgrim's worried me. He called yesterday as I was returning from across the North Sea (well, on me way back from Holy Island) saying tickets may be required. I'm gonna try to suss it oot up here in Blyth but have to head back thisafta. Will aim for 3 adults and one juvenile - or see if there's a pay-on-the-day option.

If we need tix, I'll see if my cuz can get some the morra before he heads down.

Screach - I'm a no show. Any other night would have been OK but not tonight.

Sorry Josh
