I purchased a Canon A50 with accompanying software. The download to the pc (Pentium 133, Win95)went smoothly. The camera was connected to the COM2 connection and I was able to download images for about 2 months. Now COM2 is completely dead. There is no response when the camera is connected to it, and no response when I connect a modem - both work fine on COM1. Has anyone else experienced this? Could some Windows settings have been changed with the Canon software? How do I fix it? Thanks.
