Dodds aside, Rangers looked weak in attack with Jonatan Johansson unable to make an impact before his half-time withdrawal and Rod Wallace appearing off the pace which might yet see Kenny Miller promoted.

With Michael Mols injured, Rangers lack genuine quality up front, though Dodds should never be underestimated such is his persistent, and for Advocaat welcome, knack of scoring at important times.

Not even a mention of Lovenkrands.
